Mitsubishi released a re-styled 2009 Galant earlier this year...too bad the re-style was completely forgettable.
Mitsubishi's Normal, Illinois plant produces the Galant, Eclipse and Endeavor, none of which are really bringing in any sales for the brand. The plant has the capability of producing 100,000 vehicles per year and Mitsubishi's CEO Osamu Masuko wants to shuffle which vehicles are built there to maximize production. Mitsubishi's two smallest vehicles in its lineup, the Lancer and Outlander sell much better than the Galant and Endeavor, so it would make sense to produce the Lancer and Outlander here, instead of the Galant.
