Audi and Toyota Considering New Small (Very Small) Cars for the US

Toyota and Audi recently showed off their iQ and A1 small cars at the Paris Motor Show last week. Originally both automakers had not planned on introducing either car to the US market, but as everyone is now witnessing...small cars are in.

Audi's worldwide sales and marketing boss, Peter Schwarzenbauer recently stated, " A year ago, I would have said no. I did not see any trend in the US which showed me that small cars could have a lasting, sustainable chance. I think this has changed. Therefore we definitely have to reconsider the A1." The hybrid A1 concept is powered by a 1.4L four-cylinder mated to an electric motor.

Porsche Gemballa Mirage GT Spotted in Canada!!

I originally saw this ultra rare car (limited to only 25 cars and available to only “prominent clients”) zoom by headed north on Yonge street (north of the 407 - maybe coming from PFAFF Woodbridge) while I was waiting in line for a chicken schwarma. I was pretty pissed off that I didn’t get a photo of this sick modified Porsche Carrera GT (mostly to show Vinay what I saw). 15 Minutes later, leaving the schwarma parking lot and headed back to Mississauga I saw it zoom by southbound on Yonge street right in front of my right hand turn!!!! NO SHIT!! Getting closer to it at the light I suddenly realized (my heart starting to beat faster) that it was a Porsche Gemballa Mirage GT Photos!!!!! HOLY SHIT!! I still have a grin on my face after watching and listening to that car go from 0-100mph not ONCE but TWICE!!!! I can’t explain the sheer power and awesomeness emanating from those 4 pipes!! NUTS! ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!

Porsche 997 Facelift + SPECS Leaked

Porsche has apparently upgraded the 3.6 and 3.8-liter engines to direct injection making 345 hp (+20 hp), 390 Nm torque (+20 Nm) and 385 hp (+30 hp), 420 Nm torque (+20 Nm) respectively.

I consider these minor new upgrades more of a quick botox fix than a full facelift

NEW Colors
-Porsche Racing Green Metallic (metallic colour) replaces Forest Green Metallic
-Aqua Blue Metallic (metallic colour) replaces Cobalt Blue Metallic
-Nordic Gold Metallic (special colour) replaces Dark Olive Metallic
-Cream White (special colour) replaces Slate Grey Metallic

Upgraded Interior

The center console is restyled in black finish with modified air-conditioning controls and fewer switches. Navigation data is accessed via hard drive and the TFT display screen increase in size from 5.8 to 6.5 inches as well as touchscreen functionality.

Sport Chrono Package Plus in conjunction with the PDK transmission gets new functionality:

-Launch control
-Race-track gearshift strategy
-Additional ‘Sport Plus’ button
